Our chefs have many years’ experience cooking, and are highly skilled in both Indonesian and international dishes.

Browse through our in-villa dining menu (below) for details of your dining options. Alternatively, have a chat with your chef who will be more than happy to try another dish of your choice, or even give you a few pointers on classic Indonesian or Balinese delicacies. 

How does your private chef work? Let them know what you’d like a few hours before you’d like to eat; they’ll shop for the ingredients and then prepare your food for you. You pay cost price of the food, plus a 40,000 IDR transport fee. That’s it.  

To ensure that the highest quality of food is served to you, we recommend that you limit your order to 3-4 dishes per meal for sharing. 

Whilst everything on this menu is amazing, those dishes marked with an * are our personal favourites.

 BREAKFAST 

Continental Breakfast (included in villa tariff) 

A selection of fresh bread or toast with butter and jam, fresh fruit platter or fruit juice, and coffee and tea. 

 

French Toast  

Thick cut bread cooked in an egg mixture and topped with fresh strawberries and maple syrup 

 

 

Pancake Stack 

Freshly prepared plain or banana pancakes served with butter and maple syrup 

 

Eggs of your Choice 

 Choose from boiled, fried, poached, scrambled or an omelette 

 

A Bit on the Side  

Bacon, sausage, hash brown, baked beans, grilled tomato or sautéed mushrooms 

 

Eggs Benedict* 

Soft poached eggs served on toasted sourdough bread with ham or spinach, finished with a creamy hollandaise sauce 

 

Bacon and Egg Roll * 

Crispy bacon and fried egg served on a fresh bread roll 

 

Avocado Smash * 

Thick cut toast layered with avocado, rocket and a soft poached egg and sprinkled with bacon chips, feta, coriander, chilli and lime 

 

Bubur Ayam * 

Indonesian chicken porridge (rice based, also known as congee) served with shredded chicken, a yellow curry broth and condiments such as chopped scallion, fried shallot, boiled egg, celery leaves and sweet and salty soya.

Fresh crusty loaf of bread 

Plain, chocolate or ham & cheese croissants

Watermelon, papaya, pineapple, mango, coconut, or a mixture  

SALADS, STARTERS AND SIDES 

Greek Salad 

A rough country salad of juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumber, sliced red onion, green pepper, crumbly feta cheese and plump Kalamata olives 

 

Caesar Salad 

A firm favourite with crisp Romaine, crunchy bacon, boiled egg, creamy Caesar dressing, croutons and parmesan 

 

Nicoise Salad 

A salad of tomatoes, lettuce, tuna, hard-boiled eggs, olives and anchovies, dressed with a vinaigrette 

 

Mixed Leaf Salad 

A combination of fresh leaves served with a balsamic vinegar 

 

Caprese Salad * 

Thick slices of tomato and mozzarella served with a pesto dressing  

 

Char Grilled Vegetables 

Thick sliced seasonal vegetables cooked on the grill 

 

Thai Beef Salad 

An aromatic salad of lemony-flavoured coriander leaves with cool cucumber, red onion, refreshing mint and rare beef  

 

Thai Fish Cakes * 

A fresh combination of white fish, herbs and a touch of chilli pan fried and served with dipping sauce 

 

Sautéed Mixed Vegetables * 

A combination of broccoli and green beans cooked with slivered garlic and stock 

 

French Fries

Fluffy white or yellow rice 

 

Lemon Shrimp 

Butterflied marinated shrimp cooked on the grill

Chicken Soup with or without Noodles

Club Sandwich 

A triple layered extravagance of toasted bread, sliced chicken, egg, fried bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise 

 

Classic BLT 

Thick cut toast layered with mayonnaise, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and juicy tomato.  

 

Ham and Salad Roll 

A classic combo of fresh baguette, sliced ham, lettuce, cheese and tomato. Simple and delicious 

 

Beef or Chicken Burger * 

Juicy freshly made beef or chicken patty served on a fresh bread roll with salad and french fries 

 

Juicy Lucy Burger 

A twist on the classic cheeseburger, with the cheese on the inside of the beef patty.  

 

Hot Dog 

Grilled or steamed sausage served in a long, freshly baked bun 

 

Meatball Sub 

Tender beef meatballs layered onto a fresh baguette, smothered in marinara sauce and topped with sliced cheese 

 

Cheese Quesadilla 

Fresh tortilla filled with cheese and lightly fried until golden and crispy. Served with sour cream and guacamole 

Add chicken, beef or beans for a bigger meal 

 

 

 

INDONESIAN AND ASIAN DISHES 

Gado Gado 

Traditional salad of slightly boiled, blanched or steamed vegetables and hard-boiled eggs, fried tofu and tempeh, and lontong, served with a peanut sauce dressing. 

 

Sayur Urab 

Mixed vegetables with shredded coconut & Balinese herbs 

 

Plecing Kangkung 

Water spinach with tomato sauce 

 

Mie Goreng * 

 A flavourful and spicy fried noodle dish common in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Great for breakfast too. 

 

Nasi Goreng * 

Fragrant fried rice with or without chicken, cooked with ginger, chillies, lemongrass and nutmeg. Great for breakfast too. 

 

Satay with Peanut Sauce * 

Tender pieces of meat marinated then grilled over flames, served with a creamy peanut sauce 

Choose from chicken, beef, lamb, fish or a combination of these 

 

Ayam Betutu * 

Pieces of chicken infused with Balinese herbs and wrapped in banana leaves before being slowly steamed to ‘melt in your mouth’ perfection.  

 

Be Celing Base Manis * 

A delicious stew of tender pork spare ribs slowly cooked in a sweet soya sauce 

 

Bebek Goreng * 

Delectable duck legs prepared with Balinese spice and deep fried 

Pepes Fish or Chicken * 

 Minced chicken or fish mixed with Balinese herbs before being wrapped in banana leaves and grilled. 

 

Stir Fried Chicken with Basil and Chilli 

Lightly sautéed tender pieces of chicken cooked in a combination of sauces and served with basil leaves. 

 

Thai Red or Green Curry with Chicken or Vegetables * 

A popular curry made with chunks of tender chicken or vegetables simmered in a green or red curry sauce 

Green curry tends to be hotter and sweeter than red curry 

 

Pad Thai * 

A delicious Thai noodle dish made from stir fried rice noodles, eggs, peanuts, shallots, sprouts, tofu and lime, and either chicken or shrimp. 

 

Massaman Beef Curry * 

A rich, relatively mild curry made from a combination of tender beef, fragrant spices, potatoes and peanuts. 

 

 

Beef Rendang * 

A spicy, rich and creamy Malaysian or Indonesian stew, filled with tender chunks of succulent beef.  

 

 

MAINS 

Macaroni and Cheese *  

Homestyle al-dente macaroni smothered in a creamy cheese sauce 

 

Pasta 

Your choice of pasta served with either a bolognaise, pesto, carbonara or tomato & basil sauce 

 

Crunchy Fillets of Fish * 

Fresh, seasonal fish coated in breadcrumbs and fried to perfection, served with garden salad or French fries. 

 

Off the Grill 

Tenderloin beef, pork chops, chicken legs or lamb chops cooked to your liking and served with black pepper or mushroom sauce 

 

Crumbed Calamari 

Tender pieces of calamari, lightly breaded and fried 

 

Chicken Cordon Bleu 

Juicy boneless chicken breast stuffed with ham and cheese, rolled in panko crumbs and fried until golden brown 

 

Chicken Kiev * 

Juicy boneless chicken breast stuffed with garlic and butter, rolled in panko crumbs and fried until golden brown 

 

Parmesan Crusted Chicken 

Tenderloins of chicken lightly breaded and fried to perfection 

 

Salmon 

Tender fillets of salmon pan fried to perfection; choose from crispy skinned or honey glazed. 

 

DESSERTS 

Pisang Goreng * 

Halved bananas coated in a light batter, deep fried and served with vanilla ice cream 

 

Dadar Gulung * 

 Thin pandan crepes filled with shredded coconut and palm sugar 

 

Sticky Black Rice Pudding 

A combination of black and fragrant rice, cooked with palm sugar and coconut milk. 

 

Mango Rice Pudding 

Fragrant rice, cooked with palm sugar and coconut milk, and topped with chopped mango. 

 

Chocolate Pudding * 

Creamy, light and fluffy chocolate dessert 

 

Crepes Suzette 

Thin crepes filled with sliced banana in an orange sauce  

 

Ice Cream 

Chocolate, strawberry or good old vanilla 

 

Fresh Fruit Salad

RISTTAFEL 

Risttafel is a dutch word meaning rice table.  

It consists of many side dishes served in smaller portions for sharing. Risttafel strives to feature an array of not only flavours, colours and degrees of spiciness, but also textures. Such textures include crispy, chewy, slippery, soft, hard, velvety, gelatinous and runny.
